My parents took me to a ’50s festival at the Rose Seidler house, which one of Australia’s great modernist masterpieces. Designed by architect, Harry Seidler, for his mother (aw, isn’t that nice? Mom, I’ll be sure to do likewise).
I guess since the house was completed in 1950, people thought it was a good venue for a ’50s fair. I thought it was ok, lots of “bric-a-brac”, a few cool cars and motorcycles, and lots of people dressed up. Alas, I couldn’t convince my parents to do any swing dancing…
My name is Simon and I entered the world on 29 December 2006 in Sydney, Australia. Since everyone who is anyone is online, I figured I’d get started right away. I hope to post photos and notes to keep my friends and family around the world updated on my many adventures.
A word of warning, while my adventures will be plentiful, my personal photographer may not be able to keep up. Also, things around here (and me, for that matter) are still quite new, so I’m still getting a feel for this whole blogging thing.

Simon,
Hey what happened from September to November? You can tell me using the secret handshake I showed you when your dad was not watching. :)
Cheers, See-ming

Uh, Simon, please tell your dad how very excited I am about his designing a house just for me! I think the Nancy Oye house sounds pretty cool. When can I expect to see the blueprints? Perhaps the 12th of Never? No rush, though.
