I didn’t get to go to a Yankee game, but I did wear my Yankee gear to a Pelican’s game. The Pelicans are a Minor League Baseball team in Myrtle Beach. We went to a night game, and it was so fun I stayed up all night–till 11pm–to make sure I didn’t miss any of the action!

For some reason, my Dad seemed nervous the whole time. I thought he was just really into the game, but I later learned he was terrified that a foul ball would come screaming into our seats and cause me great injury. Silly man, he’s been to 200+ games and has never caught a foul ball and he thought he’d get one this time? What ego.

My name is Simon and I entered the world on 29 December 2006 in Sydney, Australia. Since everyone who is anyone is online, I figured I’d get started right away. I hope to post photos and notes to keep my friends and family around the world updated on my many adventures.
