For some reason my parents are a little freaked out this week. I don’t get it. They keep looking at this picture and their faces go a little pale and they look a bit scared. I guess they’ll come to terms with whatever it is eventually. I hope it doesn’t affect me, whatever it is.
My name is Simon and I entered the world on 29 December 2006 in Sydney, Australia. Since everyone who is anyone is online, I figured I’d get started right away. I hope to post photos and notes to keep my friends and family around the world updated on my many adventures.
A word of warning, while my adventures will be plentiful, my personal photographer may not be able to keep up. Also, things around here (and me, for that matter) are still quite new, so I’m still getting a feel for this whole blogging thing.

Simon, I gotta tell you… this is really big! Your parents are going to be somewhat crazy for a short while, but when they look at you, they're going to realize that they are truly tripling their good fortune! Who could ask for more? You rock, kiddo!
